Raymond Nagem, organist

GraceMusic presents Raymond Nagem, organistEducated at Yale and Juilliard, Dr. Nagem is on the organ faculty at Manhattan School of Music, and spent over a decade at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine before accepting a position as Minister of Music at Brick Presbyterian Church  in NYC. He  will present an  engaging program featuring music for all ages, from Bach’s brilliant Prelude and Fugue in C Major to Mozart’s elegant Adagio and Allegro, alongside lyrical and colorful works by Boulay, Demessieux, and Laurin. A highlight is Prokofiev’s charming Music for Children, transcribed for organ by Dr. Nagem, offering wit, whimsy, and warmth.

Halloween Parade 2025

Don your most daring costume and join us in Nyack for a frighteningly fun Halloween Parade on October 25, 2025 at 5:30pm! (Rain Date: October 26)

Nyack Chamber of Commerce presents the 36th Annual Nyack Halloween Parade celebrating
The 50th Anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture Show

This year’s parade will include a flash mob style dance troupe performing Time Warp along the parade route.  If anyone is interested in doing the Time Warp… again.., or for the first time..should email her at danaditrani@yahoo.com

Schedule of events:

  • Pet costume Judging: 12 noon in Memorial Park
  • Sobro Pumpkin Painting: 1pm (South Broadway at Hudson)
  • Trunk or Treat: 2 – 5pm: Living Christ Church
  • Costume judging: 3pm in Memorial Park
  • Parade Steps off: 5:30 from Memorial Park
  • Monster Mash!  6:00 pm Nyack Center’s Monster Mash
  • Special Post Parade Screen of Rocky Horror Picture Show following the announcement of costume contest winners: Hezekiah Easter Veterans Memorial Park: 7:00
