Join poet H.E. Fisher for a 4-week in-person poetry workshop at Big Red Books, Nyack, NY, April 2, 9, 16 & 23. The Poetry of Significant Objects is a generative workshop that invites poets of all levels to use significant objects to develop, write, and revise poems. Participants will also receive individualized feedback from Fisher of up to 3 poems during a 30-minute private online session. Registration Fee: $200. These sessions are open to the public. Artists must provide their own materials and may bring an easel if desired. Session is $15 per person, $13 for Nyack Art Collective members.

This Sunday, March 30, join us for the final concert of the GraceMusic 24-25 season: ALL MOZART concert, Including the lovely “Ave Verum Corpus,” the beautiful “Laudate Dominum,” and everything in between. The Grace Church choir and invited guests perform some of Mozart’s “Greatest Hits’! You’ll want to hear “Lacrimosa” and other excerpts from the Requiem.

Meet Angela Brown, the author of Some Other Time.

Angela Brown is the author of Olivia Strauss is Running Out of Time (Little A, 2024), which was a Zibby Owens Book Club Pick and a Women’s Fiction Pick in Amazon’s First Reads program. Her sophomore novel, Some Other Time, will be published by Little A in February 2025. In addition to her books, Angela’s writing has appeared in the New York Times, Real Simple, Lit Hub, Writer’s Digest, and many other publications. She holds an MFA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Angela lives in New Jersey with her husband and two young children, where she is currently at work on her next novel.
