Event Highlights:
- Walkathon: Compete with other teams to see who can complete the most laps.
- Children & Youth Activities (12–2 p.m.): Enjoy a variety of fun options like Spanish dance class, softball, chess, and arts and crafts.
- Learn About Immigration: Discover Proyecto Faro’s programs and explore a community immigration timeline where you can add your family’s story.
- Music & Dancing: Enjoy a festive atmosphere with entertainment for everyone.
Food: Participants can enjoy bagels, pizza, fruit, and baked goods throughout the day.
How to Support the Unity Walk:
- Register to Walk: Sign up as an individual or team and raise funds by asking friends, family, or colleagues for donations.
- Donate: Contribute to a specific walker, team, or the overall fundraiser via go.rallyup.com/unitywalk2024.
- Sponsor the Event: Contact Tammy Arnstein at tarnstein@proyectofarorockland.org for sponsorship details.
- Volunteer: Help out on the day of the event by reaching out to the same contact.
