Family-friendly Nature Journaling at River Hook Preserve

June 9, 2026 by helpdesk1

Join the Edward Hopper House Museum for a special Family Day at River Hook Preserve

Artist and author- illustrator Suzanne Morris will lead families on a nature walk and share basic skills to document observations, creating their own nature journal inspired by the museum’s current exhibition “James Prosek: Memory Trees & Shadows.”

This fun practice helps you stay curious about and connects you with the natural world.

This Family Day is a rsvp, fee program starting at 1pm, versus a free drop-in museum event.

It is for up to 25 attendees. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This program booking includes a fee for materials and instruction due to the nature of the off site program.
