Edward Hopper House Museum presents Hopper’s Birthday Weekend
Join the Edward Hopper House Museum for a guided hike Sunday, July 20, through the scenic trails at Hook Mountain, culminating in a relaxing picnic (bring your own) at the summit, or below at Marydell Faith & Life Center.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDES:
- Bob Stien is passionate about the great outdoors. As an environmental educator he is committed to inspiring others to respect and appreciate all that is found in natural settings. He is on the board of the Friends of Rockland Lake and Hook Mountain. He is one of the founders of the New York Fathering Conference.
- Tom Perry is a life-long resident of Nyack, with an interest in nature and local history. He taught Science at Nyack High School for 33 years, and has led many hiking trips.
- Jeremy Cazes is a team member in Edward Hopper House Museum’s Visitor Service and an avid explorer of Rockland County’s vast places to hike.
Limited to 40 people (two groups of 20)
Tickets:
- $10 MUSEUM and FRIENDS OF RIVER HOOK members per person
- Household Members (up to 4 persons): $30
- Youth, 18 and under: $5
- General Public: $15
- General Public Family (up to 4 persons): $45
Meetup location is at Marydell Life and Faith Center (parking lot 3); details will be sent to registrants per confirmation email.
