Donald Capone’s new novel Piper Van Winkle, A Sleepy Hollow Novel was published on May 3, 2025. His novel, Just Follow Me, was published by Pen-L Publishing in 2014 and republished by the author in 2018. Don Capria is a filmmaker and author best known for Colombo: The Unsolved Murder, the acclaimed biography of mob icon Joe Colombo. He wrote and directed the award- winning shorts Eulogy (2014) and Anecdota (2021), filmed the pilot for his scripted series Abaddon (2019) starring Erika Alexander, and has also directed music videos and short-form content. His latest project, the horror slasher, Director’s Cut, hit theaters Halloween 2024 and is set to hit streaming Halloween 2025.

In addition to writing historical novels, Elf Ahearn tutors students and slavishly tends to every whim and fancy of her cats, Puck and Jilly. Prior to the arrival of these demanding felines, she spent 13 years as a reporter for the award-winning Litchfield County Times, edited an award-winning corporate newsletter, and composed back cover copy for Penguin Random House.
