A. Anupama has been writing, teaching, organizing, and creating beauty forever. She is a Tamil-American poet-artist and translator with work appearing in publications such as Prairie Schooner, Tupelo Quarterly, The Rumpus, and Numéro Cinq Magazine. Her poetry chapbook Saffron Threaded is available from Dancing Girl Press, an independent, feminist publisher based in Chicago.
A graduate of Vermont College of Fine Arts and Northwestern University, Anupama currently works as a freelance writer in healthcare communications, with a focus on oncology, vaccines, and women’s health projects.
