Circle Up

Our weekly poets circle, Circle Up, is happening every Thursday night from 6 PM to 7 PM at X House in Nyack. This week, I’m thinking on doing a performance/delivery workshop, but usually we do either writing or editing. If you want weekly emails or texts about that, let me know and I can add you to the proper list. If you can swing it, cost is $5, paid directly to the venue.

Figure Drawing

Starting January 9, 2024, the Nyack Art Collective will sponsor weekly Figure Drawing on Tuesdays, 6:15-9:15 pm at X House Nyack, 48 S. Franklin St., Nyack, @xhousenyack https://www.instagram.com/xhousenyack/
These sessions are open to the public. Artists must provide their own materials and may bring an easel if desired. Session is $15 per person, $13 for Nyack Art Collective members.

Art Minds is a meet up of artists on the last Tuesday of every month, 6-8 pm, at Art Cafe, 65 S. Broadway, Nyack, NY.

Where’s Waldo

Waldo will be hiding inside several local businesses, and you have the entire month of July to find him. Searching for Waldo is a fun way to explore and support local businesses in Nyack.

Get your official stamp sheet on July 1 at Big Red Books and start hunting at any one of the participating businesses (they’ll be posted soon).

If you find 10 Waldos, you can return your passport to Big Red Books for a Waldo sticker and a coupon for $1 off Waldo books. If you find 20 Waldos, you’ll get the same plus entry into our prize drawings on August 3! The Waldo hunt concludes at the end of July.

Big Red Books will be hosting a party for all you Waldo hunters on August 3 at 11:30am.
