Cathy & Harry
Cathy & Harry
A Film By Marta Renzi and Daniel Wolff
2024, 45 minutes
A revealing and humorous double portrait of Catherine Murphy and Harry Roseman, whose art is in collections from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to the Metropolitan Transit Authority. “Cathy & Harry” documents how their lives revolve in joyous, dizzying intensity around work, food, friends, and each other.
Both Cathy and Harry are well-known artists with work in major museums and private collections. “Cathy & Harry” demystifies that, letting us get a feel for the day-to-day work of trying to make something of value. As well as important contemporary artists, Cathy and Harry become people – and people you’d probably like to have dinner with.
After the film, Marta Renzi, Daniel Wolff, Catherine Murphy, and Harry Roseman will talk about life and art.

Circle Up
Our weekly poets circle, Circle Up, is happening every Thursday night from 6 PM to 7 PM at X House in Nyack. This week, I’m thinking on doing a performance/delivery workshop, but usually we do either writing or editing. If you want weekly emails or texts about that, let me know and I can add you to the proper list. If you can swing it, cost is $5, paid directly to the venue.
