The Big Plug In – Nyack Electric Vehicle Chargers Ribbon Cutting

Location: Veterans Parking Lot, 15 Cedar Street, in downtown Nyack,

Come join the Village of Nyack as we celebrate the opening of eight new level-2 charging stations, and build awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles.  Talk to local EV owners and dealers about their driving experience, cost of ownership, and charging on the road.

Learn about other climate actions you can take to reduce your carbon emissions.

Also, visit the Flower Market at the same time and location.

All Ways Writing Circle

The All Ways Writing Circle offers time, space, community, and inspiration to get some writing done. This is for anyone who wants to write—in any genre—and would benefit from dedicated time. Facilitated by Lily Greenberg, participants will be offered a prompt, approximately 45 minutes to write, then a chance to share their work in a warm and supportive group setting. No experience needed, all genres welcome. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Admission is $12.
Participants are encouraged to register on Eventbrite. Walk-ins are also welcome, and can pay at the door by cash, check, or Venmo.

Celebrate Caitlin Clark and the WNBA with Sara Weiss. This event is for Middle Grade and Young Adult Readers (ages 7 – 14)

Sara Weiss is the author of The Totally Awesome World of Caitlin Clark and a series of books about the endearing qualities of dogs: A Labrador Life, A Golden Life and A Frenchie Life (Quarto Books). Her writing has appeared in many publications such as Literary Mama, Mutha, Lilith, Waterwheel Review, Bustle and Brain Child, among others. She has written audio scripts for Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls and works as a college writing consultant. Sara has an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, and she lives in Nyack with her husband, two daughters, and their smallish dog.
