Jimin Han was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Providence, Rhode Island; Dayton, Ohio; and Jamestown, New York. She is the author of A Small Revolution and The Apology. She has written for NPR’s Weekend America, Poets and Writers Magazine, Catapult Magazine, Platypus Press, and Citric Acid Literary Journal, among others. She teaches at Sarah Lawrence College and Pace University, as well as at community writing centers. She lives outside New York City.
Jessica Rao is an award-winning journalist and media professional who has held contributor roles at CNBC and Gannett and overseen communications for Fortune 500 companies. In addition to her media career, Jessica is the Vice President of the White Plains Library Foundation Board, and she hosts and produces literary events. Her debut novel Nowhere to Go but Everywhere is forthcoming in fall 2026.

Meet our members, tour our beautiful clubhouse, and learn how to sail with us in the 2026 season. We’re happy to answer your questions and help you find the right program or membership.
Seasonal memberships are available, along with a wide range of opportunities for both adults and youth:
Junior Sailing (ages 8–16): One of the largest programs on the Hudson River, offering summer sessions with hands-on instruction in Optimists and Club 420s.
Ideal 18 Program: A full-season adult program with instruction, racing, social sailing, and access to club-owned boats.
Sunset Sailing: Relaxed Thursday evening sails in June and July, with on-the-water learning and social time afterward.
More Ways to Sail: Private lessons, casual sailing in Zest dinghies, and use of club kayaks.
Our clubhouse is active year-round, hosting social events, educational programs, and gatherings—even in the off-season. In the summer, enjoy racing twice a week and stunning river views from our decks alongside great company, food, and drink.

BridgeMusik Chamber Hour continues at the Nyack Library with New Voices, New Horizons, a vibrant one-hour concert featuring the Dolphin Quartet from the Juilliard School.
This forward-looking program highlights music by members of the quartet and celebrates today’s composers alongside the next generation of chamber musicians. With fresh energy, imagination, and distinctive musical voices, the Dolphin Quartet offers audiences an engaging glimpse into the evolving landscape of contemporary chamber music.

Workshop Description: This workshop will be a 2 hour, 2-part presentation (with Q&A); part 1 will be the “Save Energy, Save Dollars” workshop by Frankie, the Rockland County Energy Advisor with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland County; part 2 will be the “Comfort Meets Conservation” workshop by Carmel, the executive director of New York Passive House and head of ZAZNRG (Nyack-based energy advising firm).During the workshop, attendees will learn about low to no-cost strategies, tools, and programs that New York state homeowners and renters can utilize to lower their energy usage and increase bill savings and indoor comfort. Each participant will receive a free kit of several accessible energy saving tools ($45 value total) and a set of easy-to-follow energy efficiency resource handouts (digital handouts and follow-ups for further free energy efficiency advising available upon attendee request).

Daniella Toosie-Watson (she/they) is a writer, visual artist, and the author of What We Do with God (Haymarket Books, 2025). She has been published in The Atlantic, The Paris Review, Oxford Poetry, Callaloo, Virginia Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. Her honors include the 2024 Oxford Poetry Prize Shortlist, the 2020 Discovery Poetry Contest, and a Graduate Hopwood Award & Zell Fellowship from the University of Michigan Helen Zell Writers’ Program where she received her MFA in poetry. Daniella lives in New York.
