Music in the Garden: “Night Hawk” in Concert

End the anniversary month on a high note with Night Hawk, an acclaimed indie band whose atmospheric original music draws direct inspiration from Hopper’s cinematic imagery. 

The evening begins with an intimate pre-concert reception celebrating 55 years of creative legacy, featuring the official unveiling of the new stage mural created by the museum’s Nighthawks Teen Leaders alongside young and emerging artists, in workshops led by esteemed master teaching artists from the area. At twilight, the band takes the stage while stunning projections by Kris Burns are shown on the Hopper House.
Join us for this fitting finale to a month that proved art has no finish line.

  • Schedule: 5:30 PM Reception • 6:30 PM Gates Open • 7:00 PM Concert
  • Tickets: $50 EHHM Anniversary Pre-Concert Reception + Concert Tickets, $35 Non-Members, $30 EHHM Members, $25 Young Adults (40 years of age and under), $10 Highschool  / College Students

This Anniversary Theme takes inspiration from the 2011 and 2012 “Hopper Happens” festival, organized and curated by artist Kristina Burns in downtown Nyack.

Rendering River Hook – Sketch & Scribe Mob

“Rendering River Hook” will be a collective landscape appreciation session, rendering the essence of River Hook through words or imagery, guided by Bill Batson. Bring your chair, art supplies and/or writing supplies and set up at an assigned spot along the River Hook Preserve path. Your resulting work will be displayed during the reception the following day.
